Highway mileage increases year by year and the vigorous development of the transport industry,making the operation of the road more and more heavy pressure.There are different kinds of diseases in the road structure.The polymer grouting technology has made many achievements in the repair of the disease,which has obvious advantages compared with the traditional maintenance method.In this paper,the experiment and theoretical study on the structure and properties of polymers and its composite mixture are carried out.The purpose is to fully grasp the multi-properties of materials,as well as the effect of polymer grouting repair in the actual engineering conditions.The work is as follows:(1)The water absorption,porosity,shrinkage and compressive strength of polymer and its composite mixture are tested.The effects of material density on the above properties are studied.The prediction model of water absorption,porosity,shrinkage,compressive strength and density were established.The water absorption mechanism and shrinkage mechanism of polymer materials are analyzed by scanning electron microscope.(2)The adhesion properties of polymer materials are qualitatively analyzed.The diffusion radius of polymer materials under different working conditions was studied.The effects of density,mud content,voids in mineral aggregate(VMA)and aggregate size on the diffusion radius were studied.The multi parameter estimation model of diffusion radius is obtained by fitting.(3)The effect of water on the shrinkage and compressive strength of polymer and its composites was studied.The evaluation methods of water stability of composite materials are compared and analyzed.The water stability of the specimens was evaluated by electron microscopy and boiling method.The prediction model of shrinkage and compressive strength of specimens after water absorption was obtained,respectively.(4)The characteristics and influencing factors of thermal conductivity of polymer materials are analyzed.The polymer composite material is considered as a three-phase composite material,based on the existing theoretical model of thermal conductivity,a three-phase series parallel model and a three-phase parallel series model are developed.The thermal conductivity of polymer and its composite mixture are measured,and the calculated values and experimental values are compared and analyzed.The results showed that: the water absorption,porosity and shrinkage of the polymer and its composites decreased with the increase of the density,and the compressive strength increases as the density increases.The diffusion radius of polymer material increases with the increase of the density of material,the gap ratio of ore and the particle size of aggregate,and the diffusion radius of polymer composites decreases with the increase of the concentration of aggregate.The shrinkage of the material became smaller after the water absorption test.The compressive strength of polymer material becomes larger after water absorption,and the compressive strength of polymer composites becomes smaller.The thermal conductivity of the polymer increases as the density increases.
