To meet the requirements of high-type asphalt pavement performance from large volume of traffic,this study develops the asphalt composite modifier with excellent properties,basing on the waste polymer materials.To do so,not only improves the performance of bituminous pavement,but also turns waste into treasure,reducing the pollution from "white garbage" and "black garbage".Because of this method,there will get the comprehensive benefit for the economy,environment and the society.This paper modifies the mixture compositely,which uses AH-70#asphalt as based asphalt,exploiting waste plastic(waste low density polyethylene particles),waste tire rubber powder and SBS by indoor test.Firstly,the single modify is used to observe every polymer material,which can impact the performance of the asphalt mixture.And then the orthogonal test is adopted to optimize the best mixture ratio(regard the waste LDPE as the cardinal number and the quality of the recycled tire rubber powder,SBS and aromatic hydrocarbon oil are 5%,6%and 6%of the LDPE),on the basis of the test,the mixture ratio is adjusted,adding amount of fiber,to improve the low temperature performance of the mixture.Then the composite modifiers of waste polymer materials are manufactured to particles by twin-screw extruder.In this paper,there will form six modifier particles according to the six different mixture ratios.After this,according to the experience of the work and the standard of the gradation range use AC-20 to draw the grading curve of the waste polymer,and then the mix proportion is designed for the AC-20,which is adopted the Marshall method,and detect it at the same time.At last,the best effect modifier particle is selected from the six particles and the best mixture ratio is determined by testing the pavement performance of the modified asphalt mixture.And it is verified by the high and low temperature bending creep test.Through experimental research,the asphalt composite modifier with excellent properties,basing on the waste polymer materials,is developed successfully.Its suitable dosage is 3 ‰ of the aggregate quality.
