| In order to study the initial velocity and scattering direction of front fragment on forward enhanced lethal HE(high explosive)projectile,this paper adopts numerical simulation method to simulate the explosive of the projectile,researches the influence of curvature radius of the head shell,fragment layer thickness,head shell thickness and connecting screw on scattering characteristics.Then verification by test is made that take the head shell thickness of 17mm for example.At last,establishing mathematical model of the initial velocity and scattering range angle to compare with the test and numerical simulation.Research the influence of four factors on the fragment initial velocity.The results showed that fragment initial velocity decrease with the increase of curvature radius of the head shell,fragment layer thickness and head shell thickness.The connecting screw mainly influence the fragment initial velocity of tail fragment reduced by 30%.Research the influence of four factors on the fragment scattering direction.The results showed that fragment scattering range angle decrease with the increase of curvature radius of the head shell and head shell thickness.However,the fragment layer thickness make no influence on fragment scattering range angle.The connecting screw decrease the fragment scattering range angle and fragment scattering range angle increase 5° without connecting screw.Research the influence of four factors on the fragment density distribution.The results showed that fragment density distribution of head fragment increase with the increase of curvature radius of the head shell,fragment layer thickness and head shell thickness.The density distribution is more homogeneous without connecting screw. |
