Light gauge steel grouting wall system is a new kind of building structure system,which has excellent seismic resistance,energy conservation,environmental protection,construction fast,economical and practical,fire anti-corrosion heat preservation and heat insulation,sound insulation,thermal insulation integration,etc.In this paper,the finite element model of light gauge steel grouting wall was established by using ABAQUS,and the influence factors of seismic performance and shear resistance of wall were analyzed based on the experiment.Combining the experimental results and finite element simulation,the wall design method was studied for providing scientific basis for the compilation of rules for light gauge steel grouting wall.The paper mainly accomplished such work as follows:(1)Full scale model test was carried out for 5 pieces of wall panels under cyclic horizontal load.The failure modes,hysteresis performance,the shear resistance,ductility,energy dissipation and stiffness degradation of the wall were analyzed and summarized.The test results indicate that the grouting walls yield when the story drift angle was around 1/300 and the extreme story drift angle reached 1/50.The shear resistance of the grouting wall was 3.3 times that of the steel frame wall,while the initial lateral stiffness of the grouting wall was 4 times of the steel frame wall.The shear resistance of the grouting wall with skin increased by 43%than the grouting wall without skin,and the internal and external wall panels could reduce polystyrene foam concrete cracking.The width shear resistance of the wall with the aspect ratio of 1.5 was 27%lower than that of the wall with aspect ratio of 1,the higher the aspect ratio,the more significant of the stiffness degradation.Light gauge steel grouting wall mainly through the elastic-plastic deformation after steel was yielded and material damage to achieve energy consumption.The ductility coefficient of the wall was large,which had good deformation and energy dissipating capacity.(2)Through ABAQUS to simulate the light gauge steel grouting wall under monotonic load,the results were in good agreement with the experimental results.The characteristics of the wall,the load-displacement curve and the maximum shear bearing capacity were compared with the analysis of the finite element analysis.Factors that influenced the shear resistance of light gauge steel grouting wall were studied based on this.The results indicated that the effect of the filling material and the thickness on the shear bearing resistance of the wall was the most important.The influence of internal and external wall panels,the inclined support and the aspect ratio took the second place.Transverse keel,the type of external plate and vertical load had little effect on the shear bearing resistance of the wall.(3)Combined with the test results and finite element analysis,the design method of light gauge steel grouting wall was studied.The formulas for calculating the lateral stiffness and the shear resistance of light gauge steel grouting wall were put forward.The results were in good agreement with the experimental results.The paper also puts forward some suggestions on the structure of the wall,and provided some references for the follow-up research and engineering application of the light gauge steel grouting wall system.
