The speed fluctuations in the operation of the machine will reduce the performance of the machine,and affect the machining accuracy.The speed governing experiment system is a kind of experimental teaching equipment of mechanism dynamics for undergraduates majoring in mechanical engineering.The design objective is to enable students to carry out experimental research on different speed regulating methods for different experimental institutions.Taking the dynamic speed regulation experiment system as the object,the scheme design,the speed control principle,the structure design and the experiment of the test-bed were carried out in this paper.Specific contents include:1.The function analysis of the dynamic speed regulation experiment system was carried out.It was divided into experimental module,speed fluctuation module,power module and data acquisition and display module.The design of each module was carried out,including the selection of experimental mechanism and speed governing method.2.The influence of the applied load on the spindle speed fluctuation of the two selected experimental mechanisms was investigated.And the simulations of speed fluctuation were carried out by using the methods of the flywheel,the variable inertia flywheel and the active balancing reducer.3.The overall structure of dynamic speed regulation experiment system was proposed.According to the functional requirements,the structure of the experimental mechanism,adjustment mechanism,transmission system and detection system were designed,and the virtual prototype was completed.4.The regulation effects of variable-inertia flywheel and active balancing reducer on speed fluctuation under different rotating speed and different loads were tested for the experimental mechanism.The results verify the effectiveness of above-mentioned methods,in which,the active balancing reducer has better flexibility.In this paper,the dynamic speed regulation experiment system was studied from the aspects of theory,simulation and experiment.The scheme design and the structural design of the experimental system are completed,and the speed regulation experiments are carried out.The research results provide a basis for the application of the experimental system and the follow-up experiments.
