Shanghai Disneyland officially opened in June 16,2016,attracting the attention and expectations of domestic and foreign tourists since its beginning of planning and construction.Large-scale passenger flow has an impact on the traffic management and organization in surrounding area of Shanghai Disneyland.Therefore,there is an urgent need to study the travel characteristics of tourists,including the time and space distribution of tourists and tourists' travel mode.Also,it is necessary to study the current situation of Shanghai Disneyland's road traffic flow,so as to evaluate the current traffic organization,find potential problems and find the point of time and space where traffic congestion may occur.By site investigation,site video shooting,web crawler technology and micro-traffic simulation technology,this paper investigates the passenger travel law of Shanghai Disneyland,evaluates the capacity of the main entrances and exits,and finally proposes an optimization plan for the current existing problems.The paper has carried out the following aspects:First of all,through the web crawler technology,this paper obtains the passenger flow data of Shanghai Disneyland,analyzes the distribution characteristics of passenger flow at different time scales,and defines peak day and peak time,non-peak day and non-peak time.Secondly,according to the results of site survey,this paper analyzes the distribution characteristics of the passenger source structure and traffic structure.Combined with the passenger flow data,we can get self-driving traffic demand in one day.Then,in order to study how the daily traffic flow allocates in the Shanghai Disneyland's current road network,this paper selects three main entrances and exits of the study area,obtains real road condition in different periods at peak day through the site video capture,and takes post-finishing data as traffic simulation parameters.Finally,the simulation road network is established on the VISSIM platform and this paper carries out the traffic simulation evaluation based on the above parameters and then finds out possible problems and puts forward the optimization scheme.The results show that the existing traffic planning(entrances and exits of Shanghai Disneyland)can carry the current traffic volume.On the time scale,the daily traffic demand has obvious fluctuation characteristics,which mainly affected by holiday and weekend factors.In a day,the traffic flow at different times also has differences,divided into peak time and non-peak time.On the spatial scale,the daily traffic flow is unevenly distributed on the road network of Shanghai Disneyland.This paper finds that the west entrance takes about 70%of the total traffic demand,while the east and south entrances are not fully utilized.Therefore,it can be predicted that in important holidays or Golden Week,the West roundabout is an important traffic node and traffic congestion may occur here.This paper proposes a path-inducing measure to direct traffic from S20 and S32 to the east or south entrance.The results of the simulation show that the load of the West roundabout after path induction,the average delay time and the average queue length is separately reduced by 0.11,5.8 seconds and 4.9 meters and the service level has been improved.
