Due to the destruction of the natural environment and the frequent occurrence of extreme weather,the study of dam breakage should be paid more attention.In this paper,the numerical simulation of dam-break flood is carried out,and the results can bring some reference and help to the disaster prevention work in flood flooded area.This research topic around the Shifosi reservoir in Liaoning province.Object of study includes water body of reservoir,main dam and downstream flood detention zone.Study from three aspects that hydrodynamic conditions,dam flood process calculation and the dyke downstream flood routing.This study mainly uses MIKE software for simulation calculation of each part.Using the MIKE21 FM unsteady grid computation of the hydrodynamic model and the flood routing model.Dam flood calculation using MIKE11 Dam-break model.Through the establishment of the corresponding model,simulation results obtained reservoir flow patterns and predicting the dam flow process and the flood routing process.For the research of flow pattern,the model to obtain the velocity changes and water-level fluctuation which analyzes the necessity from three aspects that Point,cross section and surface.For the research of main dam,to uses MIKE11 model determine the dam-break site where is most likely to happen and calculated the dam flood process.In the study of flood routing,roughness is established and predicting the arrival time by the flood,flood speed and submerged condition.There are two aspects of the significance of this study.For one thing,reservoir water dynamic model can bring help for daily management and operation.For another,the use of MIKE software on the prediction of the flood damage on the dam-break.Predicting the super flood routing results that can help Huangjia hometown formulate the flood disaster warning and flood risk assessment.
