| With the advantages of a wide spectrum coverage,excellent ultraviolet lamination characteristic,miniature size,no need of preheating and so on,the xe flash lamp is widely used in analysis instrument,medical equipment and other fields as an alternative light source.It is very critical to know the information of the light spot such as the location,arc shape,length and width in all dimensions,with which the following optical detection systematic design will be more optimized,and the light utilizing efficient will be higher.At first,an optimized image processing algorithm has been promoted according to the flash sparkle spot image feature and the suitable image processing technology.On the basis of the optical characteristic,a sparkle spot image detection system is also developed.It is not only used to directly obtain the light spot image quickly and directly,but also can be easily fixed by software on a computer by which those operation parameters can be changed to make the flash lamp works under different conditions.We can get those features of the pulsed xenon lamp like the dimension size,location,the intensity of light pulse and so on.Secondly,based on the developed of the sparkle spot detection system,a lot of experiments for the xe flash lamp samples from Japanese company are carried out.The result shows that the sparkle spot is a rectangular shape,which is stretching across the two electrodes of anode and cathode,and the length is about 1.5mm.Moreover,the energy distribution in the horizontal and the vertical is much different.When the main charge voltage is increasing,the light output is quadratic uprising.While the relationship between the capacitance and the output light intensity is linear.The ratio of the output intensity in different capacitances is approximately a constant.The change of capacitance has a greater affect on the width of pulsed xe light spot than the voltage.Finally,the stability of the flash light is studied under various conditions of electrical drivers.In summary,a novel method of sparkle spot image processing is creatively provided for studying xe flash lamp luminance in this paper,which makes the results intuitive and reliable. |
