Supplying materials and other resources timely for hydraulic engineering and handling the variety of questions in traffic transportation systems to fulfill the constructiongoalshave significant meaning for the cost control,smooth traffic running and satisfactory completion of the task because of the large transport capacity and high intensity in hydraulic engineering.Large and medium-sized hydraulic engineering is characterized by the large scale,long construction period,be restrained by environment and large effects on environmental conditions.Therefore,planning for the traffic transportation has important effects on the insurance of schedule and quality and the improvement of construction safety.In construction process,simulation analysis is necessary for some complicated positions and procedure such as the transportation of the earth-rock.But there are great differences between the simulation results and the realities of the situation,and the setting of parameters need rich experience.This article designs the simulation model with the principle of system emulation for the material transportation at the construction site.It have been validated by real project that this model is adaptable and intelligent,and the result is accurate and conforms to the actual construction situation through engineering calculation.Main contents are as follows:1.Analyze the changes of transportation vehicles as well as the constraints in the construction based to the features of the hydraulic engineering transportation,then make logical decisions and math calculation to create simulation model correspondingly.2.Classify driving behavior into three levels: free driving state,following driving and intersection driving.Then create simulation model individuality.3.Analyze and classify the transportation systems based on the interrelationships of transport routes,construction site layout,transportation vehicles and loader system.4.The model is applied to a case of hydraulic engineering and the result of simulation is analyzed.
