With the rapid development of electric power industry enterprise in our country,we need long-distance and ultra-high voltage power transmission in large scale gradu-ally,which makes Gas-insulated transmission lines(GIL)emerges as the times require.Ultra-high voltage and GIL agent with SF6 for filling material.Normally,the chemica 1 property of SF6 is very stable,and it isn’t easy to be decomposed.However,some acid compounds with strong erosion will be decomposed from SF6 in discharging and overheating progress,such as HF,H2SO3,SO2 and so on,which will accelerate the insulation deterioration of GIL and even cause suddenly insulation failure.Therefore,the study of GIL online detection system become so important in order to find the malfunction in the operational process of GIL earlier and take trouble warning and analyze probable development tendency in time.Based on the above situation.Firstly,the inquiry of relative element of affecting ultra-high voltage GIL in insulation in this paper,which got the important monitoring factors are H2O,H2S,SO2 and HF.Secondly,studying the layout plan of the sensor in monitoring system and giving a modified algorithm according to various sensor placement point by making simulation for ultra-high voltage GIL.Finally,developing GIL online monitoring system combined with simulation study.This system is made of field unit and control center unit.Field unit can collect real-time sensor data and sent remote data to control center whose unit can receive real-time data from field c enter data with the function of data storage,fault alert,tend analysis and so on,whi ch can provide evidence for repairing.In conclusion,this paper studies the GIL online monitoring system about the lay out plan of the sensor,data collection,remote communication and data storage.This system was certificated by authorized department.The research result of this thesis has practical engineering value and serves as a guidance to GIL online monitoring.
