The air spring has been widely used in railway vehicles for its good elastic properties,and its elastic properties have an important role in improving the riding quality of the vehicle.At present,the experimental study on the properties of air spring is mostly carried out for one air spring.In this paper,based on the existing air spring test rig and the theoretical researches made by scholars,and according to the requirement needed for the studies of air spring properties,design related tooling and establishment dual air spring test rig.Based on the comparison of the influence of the two kinds of test bench on the air spring damping test result,fixed support above the air springs and the movable weight block above the air spring,the first method is used in this paper.The test bed was tested with strength by using the finite element software ANSYS,it is verified that the tooling meets the strength requirement.Find out how to coordinate the Motion of the various actuators when the test bed is required to move by using SOLIDWORKS Motion to simulate the motion of the test bed.In addition to the experiment on the existing single-air spring test bed,the test bed can also be used to do experiment about dual air spring properties,so the influence of spring suspension system on the vehicle riding quality is obtained.Through the opening and closing of the valve in the additional air chamber,the vertical and lateral properties of the air spring under two kinds of test conditions were tested,and the differences of the test results under the two conditions were compared,experimental results show whether the valve is opened or not has no influence on the vertical and lateral properties of the air spring.
