Water is the lifeblood of a city,but also the material basis for the development of human society.In recent years,the pace of urbanization has accelerated significantly,residents of urban water quality assurance put forward higher requirements,if the urban water supply pattern and water resources can not match in time,the development and construction of the city is hard to be ensured,urban water supply has become an important factors that affect modernization and the quality of life of residents.At present,there are many studies on regional water security research,but there are few studies on urban water supply security;Most are qualitative descriptions,and a few are quantitative descriptions.Therefore,it is very important to evaluate the urban water supply security quantitatively.This study started from the security of urban water supply systems and quantitative research was carried out for urban water supply processes.Based on the analysis of the current situation of water supply in Zhengzhou City,this paper constructed a comprehensive urban water supply index system,also used the SPA method to construct a comprehensive evaluation model,and quantitatively evaluated the water supply security.Choosed Zhengzhou City as the research target,this paper evaluated the water supply system of Zhengzhou urban from 2006 to 2014.Selected the more mature matter-element analysis method to compare the results,and forecasted and evaluated the security level of water supply system in 2020 in urban planning.Suggestions and measures are to be improved,and provided reference for Zhengzhou city water supply security research.(1)Analyzed water supply problems of Zhengzhou.The paper analyzed some problems and deficiencies in the water supply system according to the relevant statistical information of Zhengzhou water supply and the development and trends of economic society: Local surface water serious decayed,the dependence on external water was larger;Groundwater overcrowding can cause a chain of ecological and environmental issues;Urban industrial waste water and domestic sewage emissions were increasing,and may cause water pollution phenomenon.(2)Constructed and soluted the water supply security evaluation model.Based on the current situation of water supply in Zhengzhou and the main water delivery links,the paper selected four links: water source,water purification,water supply and water use as the criterion layer of index system and initially selected 27 indexes.Finally,14 indexes were screened out that can reflect the safety of water supply in Zhengzhou by principal component analysis and correlation analysis.The weight of every evaluation index was counted by SPSS software,and the evaluation level of urban water supply was determined depending on set pair analysis(SPA)model based on the connection degree.(3)Analyzed water supply security evaluation results in Zhengzhou.According to the security level corresponding to the number of comprehensive connection,the water supply security level of Zhengzhou from 2006 to 2014 was gradually rising.The water security grades gradually increased from 2006 to 2008 were in less insecurity grade(Ⅳlevel).The water security grades gradually increased from 2009 to 2013 to the basic security grade(Ⅲlevel).The number of comprehensive connection in 2014 was 0.1719 corresponding to the more security grade(Ⅱ level).Matter-element analysis method was used as contrast.Almost identical results were obtained with SPA method,indicating that the feasibility of the model in practice.Meanwhile,predict index and evaluate level of planning in 2020.As the South to North Diversion project and Yellow River Diversion project put into use,the situation of water shortage is eased and the water security level is improved in Zhengzhou,but also the reasonableness of the evaluation results is verified.(4)Because of water supply security evaluation,the improvement measures and proposal are put forward.The security level of the water supply source criterion layer fluctuated between Ⅲlevel and Ⅳlevel in the period 2006 to 2014,and is expected to reach the Ⅱlevel in 2020.The index of water resources per capita and the index of water functional area were always at the Ⅴ level,so we should speed up the Mangshan irrigation station water supply project,Niu Kouyu Yellow River diversion project and Luhun reservoir West to East Water transfer project to open up new water sources,increase water supply capacity and ensure water quality security;The security level of the water purification criterion layer was gradually rising from 2006 to 2014,but the index of water supply and marketing was on the low side.We should expand and transform the water plant timely to promote the use of water reuse;The security level of the water pipe network criterion layer was Ⅳlevel in 2006 and Ⅱlevel in 2014.We should improve the tube Network layout actively,replace the old pipe network timely and increase the water supply pipe network facilities;The security level of the water use criterion layer were Ⅴlevel from 2006 to 2009,after that the security level had improved.For the purpose of meeting the user’s water needs,we should strengthen the total quantity control and quota management,speed up the construction of water projects and water-saving projects,and fully mobilize the residents of water-saving awareness to guide residents to save water.
