As the society moves ahead with each passing day,there has been a higher requirement of modern construction projects.Due to continuous improvement of engineering design and construction techniques,a set of complete and complex production activities has taken shape during the construction process of the modern society.As a core part of the overall project construction,the engineering project schedule control can guarantee timely completion,normal use of construction materials,improvement of the working efficiency,and reduction of fluctuations in the construction plan.All these can contribute to overall profits of engineering projects.While guaranteeing the overall construction quality,reasonable engineering project schedule control can strike the best balance between the production period and the pre-stage budget cost control.Therefore,during the management process of modern construction projects,the engineering project schedule control has become the top priority.In fact,cost control of a project and optimization of the construction schedule can decide whether a project can live up to its construction quality standards.Nowadays,some construction projects are not completed in time because of poor construction schedule control.Because of that,the expected earnings of the construction unit fail to be maximized.Whether the actual construction schedule and the planned schedule can be perfectly combined decides whether earnings of a project and economic benefits brought by the completion of the project can be maximized.To study the construction schedule control is a challenging task,but it has vital social significance.Construction schedule control calls for scientific theoretical guidance.Through joint efforts,coordination and communication of all project members,and systematic research and analysis of the project itself,a practical schedule control plan can be formulated in line with the practical situations.Such a schedule control plan can help the construction plan be completed in time or in advance.This paper adopts the campus information promotion and transformation schedule control in Liaoning Mechatronics College(hereinafter abbreviated as LMC)as a case study.By referring to a series of engineering schedule control theoretic research,the author conducts an in-depth analysis and exploration of issues involved in the practical construction schedule control,and proposed corresponding countermeasures.In this research,the critical path method(“network planning method”)is combined with economic,management and systematic management engineering theories to study relevant theories and applications.Next,the author attempts to compile a construction schedule plan via the flow process principle and the network planning method.Then,the target fund management,schedule guarantee and quality assurance included in schedule control are clarified.The schedule objectives,including the overall schedule objective and the subsidiary schedule objectives of different operation sides and procedures are accurately controlled.Via comprehensive schedule control measures,problems existing in the engineering schedule are immediately resolved.The rectification and control methods are also adopted to guarantee efficient realization of the project schedule control objectives.
