The advantages of lead-acid battery with its large capacity,long service life,high performance price ratio,the output voltage stability is widely used in various fields,the charge control strategy plays an important role in the process of the lead-acid battery,the battery is one of the hotspots in the research area.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the fast charging of lead-acid batteries.This paper analyzed the working principle of lead-acid battery charging and polarization phenomenon in the process of reason,and how to eliminate the polarization phenomenon;and on the MAS theory,summarizes the characteristics and application of charging control strategy of lead-acid battery,including constant voltage charging,constant current charging,charging stage,variable current intermittent charging variable voltage,intermittent charging,single-phase pulse charging and pulse charging,hybrid charging etc..This paper presents a new lead-acid battery fast charging control strategy with negative pulse multi-stage charging control strategy,according to MAS three law,demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed control strategy of fast charging of lead-acid battery,and a quantitative calculation of the each stage of the charge and discharge rushed multi-stage charging control strategy with negative pulse.The charging control strategy to verify the proposed scheme of main circuit of Buck chopper circuit with small resistance discharge,the main circuit of the small signal model,the compensation network is designed and simulated,the simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink,the circuit structure can implement the proposed charging control strategy.To build a research control strategy of lead-acid battery fast charging experimental platform and experimental research,the experimental data show that the negative pulse multi-stage charging control strategy proposed average charging time is 232min,than the average time of common constant current charging for reducing about 7 hours,proved negative pulse charging stage with the proposed control strategy,can realize the fast charging of lead-acid battery in the premise of not affecting the life of lead-acid battery.
