The Research On The Present Situation And Design Strategy Of Physical Environment Of Learning Space In Two Library Of Beijing University Of Civil Engineering & Architecture

After several hundred years of historical development,the design of library architecture has developed to a new stage.In addition to the huge volume of buildings,architectural space getting more complex,the importance of learning space is also growing.Especially the university library,its learning space is almost the most important space of university library.Learning space is good or bad,determines the success of high-sample library design.The physical space environment quality is an important criterion of learning space.This paper investigates the present situation of environment of an old library and a new university library which are two typical university libraries.This paper summarizes the learning space of several types,and selects the typical learning space samples to observe and compare,and puts forward the optimization scheme to summarize the design optimization strategy for learning space.In the study of the physical quality,combined with the subjective questionnaire and the measured data records,coupled with the present conditions and factors of observation and description.Subjective assessment is a survey of key users of space,including readers and librarians.The subjective feeling is including the sound environment feeling,light environment feeling and thermal environment feeling.And also,the importance of different environment and subjective feelings of evaluation should been investigated.The measured data is based on sound,light,thermal physics equipment,space for physical investigation of the physical environment.Within the analysis of the rounding conditions and the investigation,we can find out the impact of its space favorable and unfavorable factors.Summed up the different impact of different types of space,and how they impacting the learning space on the physical environment.Finally,according to the results of subjective and objective investigation,the author puts forward the optimization measures and suggestions on the two colleges and universities from the aspects of sound,light and heat.The theory of physical space optimization is applied to the actual case,University library learning space environment to provide reference,and new design projects proposed design recommendations.
