An Approach To The Design Of Reading Space In University Library In China

Recent years, with the adjusting of higher education resource and policy, especially after student's amount enlarged, all colleges took on an accelerating estate. Constructing college library become one of the pop things and make mention of schedule after college merging or campus lay outing. In order to adopt the developing of science and technology and communication transmitting speedily up, the mode and function of college library have changed rapidly. The libraries which still use traditional functions and contents such as collecting, reading, borrowing or returning books and managing already can't satisfy new century readers.First, the article bases on the status in quo surveying of libraries'reading space of part new college libraries in our country and concluding the questions and experiences of them, and analyzing the design mode"three integrate one"of new times'college libraries. Second, the article introduces college libraries reading space from layout of reading space, interface of reading space and lighting of reading space. Last, the article points out that under the circumstance of economizing energy sources the policies of college libraries'reading space design should took ecological policies and combined some examples with some aspects such as introducing of green concept, ecological transition space, double deck curtain wall, prevent sunshine design and etc to expatiate it.
