Analysis On The Innovative Space Construction Of Hi-tech Park

In the context of global economic integration,the state mandates the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy,emphasizing that scientific and technological innovation should be the core objective of the country’s overall development.The construction of hi-tech parks is booming and innovation is the source of their development.The creation of innovation spaces in these hi-tech parks are an important area of contemporary urban regional planning.Nanjing,as the only national "comprehensive reform of science and technology system pilot city," is exploring a unique path of "innovation-driven,endogenous growth,green development".The Nanjing government supports talent,entrepreneurship and innovation and regards these for the core competence for the whole city.For this reason,20 Zijin technology entrepreneurship special communities have been constructed since 2011.These are innovative high-tech parks that integrating living,working and leisure,purposely developed for highly innovative talented individuals,as well as small and medium enterprises,with the aim of helping them to strengthen and transform.This thesis starts with the research of space planning and architectural design of Zijin technology entrepreneurship special communities.Using the communities as case studies,a comprehensive investigation was achieved,with data collected,categorised and analysed to determine potential problems of construction in the process of industrial transformation,and to develop technological strategies to overcome them.It summarizes the historical development of processes and characteristics of hi-tech parks as well as concepts,definitions,developmental rules and past theoretical.studies.It discusses the lessons learned from the country’s high-tech park planning and construction outcomes.Through investigation and research of Zijin technology entrepreneurship special communities,their functional composition,structural characteristics and spatial layout are studied;taking successful cases as the breakthrough point,combining the theories such as innovative economy,psychology,sociology,city planning,and humanistic ecology.With a focus on "the talented" as the key factor of the innovative space,it analyzes the requirement of architectural space,environment space and urban living space,studying the special communities from the perspectives of city characteristics,combining theories of urban renewal and sustainable development.Finally,planning and designing strategies,such as "humanization ","symbiotic community "and "low carbon",are proposed.In the last part of this thesis,combining theories and practice,the personal involvement that the author had in planning and designing of "Chuang Yuan Zhi Hui city" block project in Zijin(Jiangning)technology entrepreneurship special communities,the design strategy of environment construction of the urban innovative space is further discussed.In the end,the development trend of innovation space is forecasted,with a view to provide some reference for further study.
