With the rapid development of China's economy, the continuous development of China's electric power system and the market of the electric power industry, more and more attention has been paid to the reliability and safety of power supply.Users put forward more and more high demand, for this, the power companies must find ways to improve the stability and security of power supply device.Transformer is a very important power transmission and distribution hub in power system. It is very important for power system to operate safely and reliably. Therefore,in order to make the power system to be able to continue the safety and economy of power supply, the regular timing of the transformer maintenance is very necessary. But the preventive test and regular maintenance to check the transformer means have many drawbacks, such as blindness and mandatory, but also a waste of manpower and material problems, force excessive maintenance and increase the maintenance difficulty and the maintenance cost of transformer etc..State maintenance is a reference to online monitoring of the monitoring data and daily maintenance history, and then through the analysis of relevant personnel, according to the specific issues of equipment operation,in accordance with the implementation of the arrangements for the maintenance of equipment. In order to achieve "should be repaired,to avoid unnecessary maintenance".This paper is based on the SVM(support vector machine)through the analysis of dissolved gas in oil of transformer, test data and on-line monitoring of transformer condition assessment, combined with the characteristics of the Benxi area of the transformer is proposed for state maintenance strategy in Benxi area.
