Research On Operation And Maintenance Technology Of A 500kV Intelligent Substation In Inner Mongolia

In the background of the comprehensive construction of smart grid in China,the intelligent substation has developed rapidly.Since 2006,intelligent substations with IEC 61850 standard system have been put into operation.It has been several years since the transformation projects and new projects of domestic intelligent substations come to the current stage of comprehensive development from pilot projects.Construction of the 500 kV intelligent substation in west Inner Mongolia is the first pilot project within this area.Due to regional development and climate differences,intelligent substation operation and maintenance technology differs according to the management habits.However,there is not effective operation and maintenance technology to deal with this situation.Therefore,to proceed the operation and maintenance technology from the application aspects is not only provided technical means for the safely operation of Meiligeng substation,but also laid the foundation which intelligent substation can be widely used in west Inner Mongol area in future.This paper starts with discussing the background of 500 k V power substation in western Inner Mongolia,mainly to analyze the meaning of this topic and the urgency of practice.The basic concept of intelligent substation will be introduced as well as the research status of intelligent substation technology.Based on the research of IEC61850 standard,intelligent substation system structure and network,and also the analysis of the system configuration in Meiligeng,the paper summarizes the characteristics of the substation equipment in Meiligeng.Moreover,inspection principles and inspection technology will be formed for 500 kV Meiligeng substation aiming at station control equipment,process layer equipment,interval layer equipment.At the same time,from the relay protection system and intelligent terminal aspects,the relevant maintenance technology and fault handling technology will be developed so as to lay a certain foundation for the successful application and operation of the intelligent substation in Inner Mongolia.The research of this paper can make the operation and maintenance staff grasp the operation condition of intelligent substation equipment timely and accurately,and also complete the maintenance work quickly and accurately.Therefore,the potential of intelligent substation can be greatly exerted,and the asset benefit of intelligent system can be improved.
