During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period,the State Grid Corporation of China further promoted the construction of smart grids.More and more smart substations are being put into operation,and the original conventional substations are also increasing their efforts in intelligent transformation.The surge in the number of substations has increased the intensity of operations and inspections undertaken by substation engineers.The traditional manual operation and manual inspection have become increasingly difficult to meet the requirements of substation operation and maintenance work,and a new method or technology is urgently needed to solve this problem.With the continuous advancement of the intelligentization process,smart substations have implemented and applied many different operation and maintenance technologies that are different from traditional substations,such as sequential control operation technology and intelligent robot inspection technology.These new technologies reduce the operation and maintenance costs of substations,labor costs of engineers,and play an important role in improving the intelligence level of operation and maintenance management.They have provided innovative methodologies for technical-detection and comprehensive guarantees for smart substations security.From the perspective of practical application,this thesis first introduces the operation and inspection mode of the intelligent substation in Tai'an area.Then,taking the 220kV Hongmiao Substation as an example,this thesis describes compositions,functions,and improvements of the intelligent robot inspection with details,and discusses the shortcomings in its practical application.For the 110kV Nanhu Substation sequence control operation technology,this thesis introduces the implementation methods,technical requirements,system improvements and existing problems.Finally,through the analysis of the application results of these two key technologies,this thesis proves that the intelligent robot inspection technology reduces the work intensity of the substation operators through its intuitiveness and timeliness,and improves the work efficiency and work quality.Furthermore,the sequence control technology can improve the safety and economy of the switching operation.These two new technologies have contributed significantly to the efficiency of current substation operation and maintenance work,which means they should be promoted to broader usage.This is in line with the progression of China's electric power industry.The development of smart substations will greatly promote the development of smart grids.Our research on smart substations,including the application of new smart technologies and the summarization of the typical experience of smart substation operation and maintenance,is of great significance to the development of smart substations.
