Research On BIM Benefit Evaluation In Project Schedule Management

Along with the development of national economy,Chinese construction has become the most active in the world.The development of construction industry become faster and faster,the companies and people that know the BIM is more and more,however,the popularity and depth of application of BIM technology have not improved significantly.Schedule management is one of the three major objectives of project management,which plays an important role in scientific and effective management of the entire project,and it will improve the overall efficiency of the project significantly to use BIM to control the progress of the project effectively.In order to clear the application of BIM technology's advantages and promote the development and application of BIM technology,this thesis establishes the benefit evaluation system of BIM in project schedule management,and evaluates the benefit of BIM in project schedule management.The specific content includes the following points:Firstly,it introduces the background of the research and discusses the present situation of BIM benefit at home and abroad,the application of BIM in project schedule management and the theory of benefit evaluation,the theory of BIM benefit evaluation system is discussed briefly.Secondly,this thesis establishes the index list through the statistical analysis of domestic and foreign literature on the evaluation of BIM benefits,and selects and optimizes the BIM benefits evaluation indicators according to Some Provisions On the Economic Evaluation of Construction Projects and other management systems.Using the method of theoretical analysis to choose indicators to construct the BIM benefit evaluation system.The evaluation system consists of three levels.The first level is the criterion layer,including three indexes:finance,operation management and delivery result;the second level is the index layer,including 11 indexes,such as production efficiency,risk control and time limit;the third layer is a sub index layer,including 19 sub indicators,such as the project time saving rate,reduce rework rate,and so on.Then set the calculation method of BIM benefit evaluation index.Finally,combined with the construction project in Henan province,through BIM software and related management software for practical operation,calculating the rate of return on investment,analysis of financial,operational management and delivery results of three aspects of the proceeds,it reaches a decision that the BIM technology has positive benefit for the project schedule and the benefit evaluation system is reasonable by calculating the return on investment.The BIM benefit evaluation system is applicable to the project schedule management,it enriches the content of BIM benefit evaluation,and plays a certain role in promoting the application of BIM technology.
