Railway signal equipment is one of the most important basic equipment in railway transportation,which is responsible for the collection,transmission,display and command and control of all kinds of traffic information.The railway signal equipment failure often become the direct cause of major accidents.If the signal equipment fault is not judged and dealt with timely and accurately,it will cause a serious threat to the traffic safety,and even lead to traffic accidents.The theoretical level,operational ability and field experience of the signal equipment maintenance personnel directly affect the time of judging and dealing with the fault,the way,the efficiency and the accuracy of the fault handling.With the rapid development of China high-speed rail,increasing passenger flow volume and shrinking train tracking interval,in order to ensure the safety of the passenger's life and property,the safe operation of the railway transportation equipment requirements is becoming increasingly strict,the ability of signal equipment maintenance personnel for quick and accurate fault handling of signal processing equipment in limited time are also constantly upgrading.Relying on the experience of failure has been unable to adapt to the status of most new technologies and new equipments,so making full use of the railway signal monitoring system to find fault point,fault analysis,and fast processing of fault,failure delay,play a vital role to improve traffic efficiency.This paper is based on the railway centralized monitoring system produced by Glory Technologies Inc.combined with the practice of the DA-XI high-speed rail.The discussion focused on how to make full use of centralized monitoring system to monitor signal system,handle signal equipment failure,improve the fault handling capacity,reduce failure delay,decrease the traffic safety threat,and traffic safety risk.
