Study Of Design Of Underground Commercial Building Based On The Space Experience

For easing the tension of the construction land,land saving and efficient development are particularly important.Accelerating the development of urban underground space is a good direction to effectively utilize the land.It will help improve the value of land use to take underground space development as commerce.As the underground commercial space is located in special environment beneath the earth surface,the natural environment has its own characteristics,such as unable natural lighting,ventilation mainly depending on mechanical ventilation,indoor humidity,and noise hard to spread,etc..This will result in series of adverse physiological and psychological effects to the customer in this environment.There is no natural light in underground space,so people can not feel time change by illumination variation.Moreover,the closure of the underground space will easily cause people having claustrophobia.We can use a series of technical methods to weaken the adverse effects it brought.For example,bringing natural light into the underground space,and making use of sunken square to break the closed feeling,etc.The development of e-commerce has brought huge impact on traditional retail industry.Traditional business have to strengthen the place experience and execute experiential consumption to attract more customers.The place,as people's active place,is not only an objective space concept,but also has the characteristics of recognition and identification.Only when the space is given the culture connotation,can it become place.Based on Place theory,this paper combined with environmental psychology to proceed discussion on underground commercial design of entrance space,public space design,streamline design,interior design and landscape design.At last,the paper proves the successful application of this theory to the practical cases through analyzing the design of the large scale commercial projects named “GLOBAL HARBOR” which is quite successful business in Shanghai.
