There are many old underground commercial spaces transformed from human defense projects in various cities in China,which are fragmented and distributed in the urban underground space,which were once hot and brought huge economic benefits to the society.Nowadays,the business is dismal and the decay is obvious.In the rapid development of the current,the old underground commercial space has been unable to meet the growing consumer demand.Under the background of new consumption mode,the immersive experience design method of underground commercial space can effectively respond to the existing development challenges and meet the spiritual and emotional demands of consumers.This paper sorts out the development characteristics and existing problems of underground commercial space,analyzes the relevant theories of immersive experience,draws lessons from the existing excellent cases of underground commercial space of immersive experience in China,and explores the method of applying the theory of immersive experience in the design of underground commercial space.The underground commercial space of civil air defense in Hongqi Street,Changchun City was selected as the research object to conduct field research and questionnaire survey.The questionnaire was analyzed by mathematical statistics using SPSS software to screen out the factors affecting consumers’ sense of immersion experience,so as to explore the design elements of underground commercial space conducive to the formation of immersive experience.The immersive experience design strategy of underground commercial space is proposed from six aspects: themed design,diversified design,dynamic space design,static situation construction,all-round sensory mobilization and interactive experience design.Finally,taking the underground commercial space design of Hongqi Street in Changchun as practice,the paper designs the underground commercial space of Hongqi Street from five aspects: functional layout,spatial plot organization,scene atmosphere rendering,interactive experience building and humanized design.Through the design research of the underground commercial space of Hongqi Street,this paper provides new ideas for the optimized design of other old underground commercial spaces,as a continuation and supplement of the existing research results.It also provides a reference for the future design of highly immersive,experiential and comfortable underground commercial spaces.
