Along with China's status in international shipping continuously consolidated,the construction of domestic ports has become increasingly saturated.Many self-built ports had been put into operation since finished and a large part of them had been under operating for tens of years.Their original functions degraded due to corrosion,aging,overloaded,fatigue damages and so on.Work centrality of China'ports industry has moved from the new structures to the maintenance work of old terminals and China has already regarded wharf repairing and reinforcement technology as a main research direction.And as the most widely u sed structure,the upper structure of high-piled wharf destroyed seriously and it is very meaningful to make scientific maintenance decisions.So as to solve all these problems,this paper,based on the RCM and Risk assessment theory,uses AHP and fuzzy evaluation method to make scientific maintenance decisions for the upper structure of high-piled wharf and provides references for wharf structure maintenance.First of all,the paper introduces the situation of wharfs in service in current time and the problems that wharfs need repaired.then study the maintenance theory based on the safety and economy in different engineering communities.Then introduces the advantages and disadvantages and scope of application for several theories mainly used in this paper,including the RCM theory,the theory of risk assessment,maintenance mode selection theory,the chromatographic analysis method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.And then determines the scientific process about the risk assessment on upper structure for piled wharf.As to maintenance mode selection,it compares different maintenance mode selection criteria,and then chooses the best means of maintenance.Finally,in order to determine preventive maintenance period for wharf structure,this paper respectively sets up regular preventive maintenance model and preventive maintenance cycle model.And focusing on preventive maintenance cycle model,using living example and the multi-criteria fuzzy optimization verifies its correctness,and finally gets the optimal maintenance cycle and also validates the feasibility of the model.
