Roller compacted concrete dam has gradually become one of the representative dam types in the future.Because of its characteristics such as low cost,short duration and easy to mechanization construction,roller compacted concrete dam has very broad prospects for development.From the introduction to the promotion,RCC dam construction technology in China continues to innovate and improve.Currently the highest roller compacted concrete dam has reached 200 meters.Storehouse surface construction is a key link in the RCC dam construction process,which is influenced by many factors such as external environment,construction process,construction plan and so on.How to realize an elaborate simulation model for storehouse surface construction and reflect the complex stochastic rules of storehouse surface construction,have certain theoretical and practical significance for optimizing the construction organization design and guiding field operations.The previous construction simulation for RCC dam seldom takes storehouse surface construction technological process and its constraint conditions into consideration,which is difficult to fully reflect the complexity of RCC dam storehouse surface construction and reduces the credibility of the simulation.At the same time,the details of the construction process can't be got.In addition,the current simulation model mostly selects simulation parameters from the engineering experience,could not make full use of the actual construction data and predict the future construction progress accurately with the pre-construction process,which reduces its real-time performance.In the end,as a result of that there is still a lot of room for development in the visualization for simulation result,further studies are required.For the above problems,linked to the technology of system simulation,real-time monitoring,database and visualization,study on construction simulation and visual analysis for storehouse surface construction of RCC dam is carried out.An elaborate simulation model for storehouse surface construction is established.By analyzing the real-time monitoring data and updating the simulation parameters,the real-time performance of the simulation model is improved.Furthermore,the interactive threedimensional dynamic visualization analysis for storehouse surface construction is realized.Taking a project in Southwest China as an example,the simulation combined with real-time monitoring data is completed.The reliability of the simulation model is verified by the method of confidence interval.Reliability and accuracy of the simulation results are guaranteed.By comparing the simulation results with the actual storehouse surface construction data,it can be found that the simulation of the storehouse surface construction is accurate,and the simulation model can reflect the actual construction situation well.
