Research On The Rainwater Landscape Design In University Campus

With the speedup of urbanization,rainwater problems such as urban water-logging,rainwater pollution and water shortage have drawn the attention of more and more countries and cities.The ecological and landscape sustainable rainwater management strategies developed by Europe and America and other developed countries are of great practical significance in solving urban rainwater problems.At present,the development of rainwater engineering technology in China is mature while the sustainable rainwater landscape management research is still at an initial stage.As a part of the urban rainwater system,rainwater landscape in university campus is of great importance in the sustainable development of global water-cycling system and image-building of university campus.Based on the basic theories related to sustainable rainwater management and focusing on the characteristics of landscape environment in university campus and ubiquitous rainwater landscape problems,this paper aims to discuss possible ways in which rainwater landscape design in university campus can be combined with sustainable rainwater management.In the first place,this paper starts with the relationship between university campus landscape and university campus rainwater landscape.Then it analyzes the composition,functions and characteristics of university campus landscape and basic concepts of university campus rainwater landscape design.It also summarizes the connotation of sustainable development,sustainable concepts and design essentials of rainwater landscape in university campus.In addition,it puts forward the adaptive mechanism of rainwater landscape design in university campus to urban rainwater system,which provides theoretical foundation for the research on the rainwater landscape design in university campus.On this basis,the paper analyzes the environmental problems brought about by rainfall and ubiquitous rainwater landscape problems in university campus.This paper makes a further summary of evaluation criterion of rainwater landscape in university campus.At last,this paper explores the design principles and methods of rainwater landscape in university campus and puts forward the necessity of carrying out soil assessment in university campus.It determines the general layout of green rainwater infrastructure by considering both architectural forms and layout forms of university campus.This paper deals with ways in which green rainwater infrastructure can be combined with space and elements of university campus landscape from six aspects,namely campus green space,squares,roads,parking lots,water body and buildings.Furthermore,it studies the goals of rainwater landscape design in university campus and how to realize the good interaction between landscape and teachers and students in campus from four perspectives,namely visualization,experience,elastic multi-purposes and popularization.By means of research on the rainwater landscape design in university campus,this paper aims to transform the existing rainwater management concepts,reinforce the awareness of turning rainwater into resources and promote the development of sustainable rainwater management concepts in China,so that the urban rainwater problems can be relieved to some degree.
