Research On The Art Of Rainwater Management In University Campus

With the development of urbanization,more and more natural interfaces in cities are transformed into hard interfaces,which affect the evaporation and infiltration of rainwater and lead to rainwater runoff.According to the traditional underground drainage method,once the drain is blocked or the pipeline is not loaded enough,it is easy to cause urban waterlogging in extreme weather.This rainwater treatment method shortens the circulation time of rainwater,ignores the role of evaporation and infiltration in the ecosystem,and makes urban waterlogging,heat island effect,water resource pollution and other problems more and more serious.In view of these environmental problems,China proposes a series of countermeasures to actively promote the construction of urban rainwater recycling and utilization facilities.However,it mainly focuses on engineering technology,and lacks both artistic and visual sense of the facilities.People's satisfaction is low,which affects the further development of rainwater recycling and utilization practices.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out artistic design of rainwater management and combine rainwater management with urban landscape.The reason why the campus is chosen as the research carrier is that the campus,as a relatively independent and special space in the city,has good site conditions,green space conditions and scientific research conditions,and its utilization mode and utilization efficiency of ecological resources can produce a huge demonstration and driving effect on the society.This paper first sorts out the concept and related theories of artistic design of campus rainwater management,and probes into the necessity and feasibility of implementing artistic design of rainwater management on university campus according to the problems existing in the aspect of rainwater management on university campuses in China.Secondly,it studies the practical cases in this field at home and abroad,analyzes the problems faced in its design and the solutions.Then,from the perspective of aesthetics,psychology and behavior,this paper analyzes and summarizes the artistic design objectives of rainwater management,and discusses the corresponding artistic design strategies of each link in the natural circulation process of rainwater by combining with the principles to be followed in the design process.Finally,the paper takes the second phase of duke university of kunshan as an example to carry out artistic design practice of rainwater management.It is hoped to provide some references for the design of green storm water management and similar projects in Chinese universities.
