With the development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the living standard of residents increased,the number of motor vehicles increased rapidly,and the road traffic congestion increased year by year.Traffic congestion has become an important problem which restrict the development of the city.Traffic guidance system as a kind of intelligent traffic management means,through the scientific method to establish the induction strategy,can be more reasonable,and the allocation and use of road resources fully,meanwhile,variable information board is the traffic guidance system to achieve an important tool for public information services and means.Therefore,how to choose a reasonable layout of the variable information board,so that the variable information board to maximize the utility of the current need to solve the problem.First of all,this article analyzes the traffic area partition and variable information plate location method of the research status at home and abroad,and makes a systematic study on the location problem of variable information board.By analyzing the traffic planning area and the traffic control area,the traffic induced cell is defined,and the characteristics of the traffic induced cell are analyzed.The threshold and the road network limit of the traffic induced cell are setted.The temporal and spatial correlation between the sections is analyzed,The road segment is defined as a node to map the road network as a directed network map.The network map is analyzed by using the theory of graph theory.A traffic-induced cell partitioning method based on random walk algorithm is proposed.Using traffic induced community characteristic parameters to evaluate the result of the community divided.Secondly,the influencing factors of variable information board location are analyzed,and the location principle of variable information board is put forward;The classification and ranking of POI are analyzed,and aslo,the characteristics and acquisition methods of POI data are analyzed;The POI in the study area were obtained by the web crawler program;The influence of POI points on traffic is introduced into the attenuation factor in the location model,and a new location model is constructed;The method of solving the model by genetic-tabu algorithm is proposed.Thirdly,the boundary region of the adjacent induced subinterval is defined,and the traffic characteristics of the induced boundary region are analyzed.By analyzing the correlation between adjacent subareas,it is necessary to determine whether the boundary area needs to be distributed with variable information board.By using the cell to simulate the urban traffic network from the microscopic point of view,each section is separated into several cells,and different sections are defined.The inflow rate,the outflow rate and the maximum number of vehicles that can be accommodated in each type of cell are based on the traffic flow theory,and the variable area information plate location model based on cellular automata is established.Finally,the actual data of some road network in Shenyang are validated.By constructing the simulation model,the simulated physical network is divided into the induced cell,and the accuracy of the result is verified.By using the obtained POI data and the road network data,the location model and the algorithm of the induced sub-region are verified by MATLAB programming.It is found that the method can obtain better solution compared with the simple genetic algorithm.Using MATLAB to write the program of cellular automata,the layout model of boundary region is verified,and we can obtain the optimal layout cell of VMS.The results show that the results of this paper are in line with the actual situation,the model is practical and feasible.
