To avoid excessive land use intensity,the city function and traffic demand is too concentrated,as a new theory,Traffic Impact Analysis(Traffic Impact Analysis,or TIA)plays an important role in urban planning and construction.It is capable to make feasible recommendations for improving the traffic managing measures of city complexes.The method for determining the scope of traffic impact analysis which is the important step to solving the throughout the process,and the method of determining the scope of traffic impact analysis Have great influence on subsequent work.But so far there is no unified method in view of the city complex at home and abroad,urgently need to confirm the range of a set of scientific traffic impact evaluation area methods.Urban complex,a highly centralized city tissue,came into being to increase the use ratio of city resources and improve the degree of utilization of the urban resource,compared with the single function of construction projects,the traffic impact mechanism urban complex is more complicated.With urban context as the research object,to comb the concept and features.Then analyzing the traffic characteristics of urban complexes from location characteristic,personnel distribution characteristic,time traffic impact characteristic and so on.Different types of functional urban complexes are under investigation and analyzing the concept of urban complex and features,analyzing the different types of transportation structure and urban complex personnel and distribution proportion.In this paper,project traffic impact area can be divided into the two levels: study area and evaluation area.First of all,based on speed and cost of road resistance function with speed variable expresses road impedance function,analyzing urban complex personnel distribution,researching different ways of acceptable maximum travel time,using speed and to calculate all the modes of transportation for the best travel distance,on this basis,determining the study area by considering the project scale affects he study area.Secondly,on the premise of considering the influence of the project location,put forward a kind of traffic impact assessment on the basis of impact threshold determination method: based on the project's location,determining the appropriate impact threshold,proposed projects to generate traffic to traffic distribution within the scope of the study,and compared the related indicators to impact threshold,determined affected sections by the impact threshold.Multiple affected sections surrounded close area is traffic impact evaluation area.Finally combining with the proposed method of the actual case,and the traffic impact assessment area compared with the scope of the standard method,analyzing the feasibility and applicability of the research methods.
