The topic comes from State Council which issued "Opinion on further strengthening of city planning and construction management in 2016" for the optimization of the structure of the network content blocks,which put forward clearly the new district area and promote the cascade district;then implementation of small internal roads public to achieve the optimization of city road traffic system of road network concept and promote the economical use of land.At present,the rapid advance of city and its huge population has made the problems in city road congestion become increasingly severe," Wide dilute road layout and network" is obviously difficult to meet current traffic demand,large scale closed residential area hinder passage of outside road branch,forming single function of street facade,monotonous city's landscape,it also made the community gradually become a closed area,which will be cut off from outside.The block is the product of internal function and road traffic.D ensing road network,building block laying may change this situation opportunity.This paper discuss from two aspects,which are organizational life and the city road blocks.With the application of field survey,literature research,statistical research,case studies and other research methods,it try to construct "road network" blocks pattern for Haidian District in Beijing,in order to promote its community open,make street construction work can be finished smoothly and orderly.Firstly,the article describes "road network","block" and other related concepts,defined the object and scope of this study.Then it executed from two perspectives.which are human activities and traffic demand,through the analysis of neighbourhood level,social organizations,community association management and public service facilities,it proposed an independent unit block model and also analysis its block scale,population scale,public space layout and reasonable allocation of public service facilities.Secondly,it discuss from the perspective of city traffic demand perspective,and analysis the relationship between traffic supply and demand in each r egion of Beijing city,then make several suggestions on the block density and distance of road network,what's more,it starts from the current situation of Haidian residential construction,explore the influence of factor such as location and scale strength,and proposes a local road network density adjustment and the way for residential roads open with foreign examples.In the third part,it analysis on four aspects,which are city blocks,public space and landscape,service facilty,road and parking space,put forward the cell block transformation model for residential area in different location and type in Haidian districy.Finally,from the perspective of administrative,economic and traffic aspects,it put forward the macro strategy of small scale building blocks,road network construction and residential area open.
