Belt Conveyors have been widely applied in modern enterprises,such as mine,pier,port,transportation,etc.With the rapid development of economy construction,the performance requirements of products from customers becomes higher and higher.In order to meet the needs of all walks of life,the products have been many series.But at present,the design way is still rest on the on the two-dimensional stage.Due to the limitations of the design of two-dimensional software,design is not intuitive and the workload is great,and the errors in design courses cannot be detected easily.With the development of three-dimensional,its intuitive and efficient design capabilities can fully meet the current needs of enterprises,so the three-dimensional design has become an inevitable tendency in CAD application field.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a practical belt conveyor CAD system by combined with three-dimensional software.This topic originates from the development project of AnHui Sheng Yun heavy Machinery Company limited liability company "Research of belt conveyor design system based on secondary development Solidworks".The system combines the enterprises needs of enterprises,and the design system of belt conveyor is designed based on the 3D design platform-Solidwoks and database-Access 2012,and the whole system is using VB programming language,it is of great significance to develop a practical CAD system of belt conveyors.The main contents of this research are as follows:(1)Firstly,the development status and development of CAD system from belt conveyors are introduced from the application of belt conveyors.Then,the key technologies of the secondary development from SolidWorks are studied,including the parametric modeling method based on the feature analysis and selection of appropriate parametric modeling methods,in which introduced SolidWorks macro recording technology,which can quickly obtain the required program code.The secondary development API interface based on SolidWorks is analyzed.The function is understood,thereby enhancing the ability to access Solidworks.By comparing the access technology of the database,the most suitable access technology is selected.Finally,the development method of CAD system from belt conveyors is discussed.(2)The model library,engineering library and database library of belt conveyors are established.In this paper,the active half-coupling and ZL-type elastic pin coupling as an example,focusing on the analysis of the model,the parameter table derived and the definition of attributes.Taking the database established by the slave half coupling,the establishment process of database is introduced.(3)This paper has studies the method of system development,tools used,system structure,the work flow of the system,the characteristics of the system and so on from belt conveyors so that the system is more in line with the design requirements of companies.(4)Finally,the whole system design process is introduced through the analysis of CAD system from belt conveyors.The topic eventually develops the interface of the design system is simple and intuitive,and generate vivid image of 3D models by connecting Solidworks.Engineering drawings can be automatically updated so as to the reduce workload of design personnels,thus the design efficiency and level are improved,and it also can meet the development demands of modern design.
