Research On Interactive Curtain Wall Based On Ubiquitous Computing

Now the daily life and architecture have been engaged in the digital technology.As an important part of digital architectural design,interactive architecture has great researching value and promising future.Curtain wall is one of the most developed building component systems,which is free from the building structure and easy to be combined with the advanced interactive products.Moreover,the development of interactive architecture and that of curtain wall have intersection,which means the interactive curtain wall will be the new developing direction of both of them.By combing the history of interactive architecture and curtain wall,the thesis concludes the recent researching trend of interactive curtain wall,and assumes a prototype of interactive curtain wall depended on the actual project with experiments and models to test and simulate the interactive mode.There are two main parts of the thesis.The first part introduces the project named Building No.3 of production test and experiment,consisting of two chapters which simply include project introduction,analysis of site and design and technical drawings.The research on interactive curtain wall is demonstrated in the second part.The first chapter is introduction,involving the background and significance,literature review,content,method,thesis structure.The second chapter mainly introduces the development of interactive architecture and typical buildings used the interactive technology.The third chapter introduces the development and projects of curtain wall.Binding two developing traces,it is natural to conclude that the interactive curtain wall is the new direction since 1990s.The forth chapter describes the research and design of interactive curtain wall,including the concept,the mode and principle and the design process.A double-skin interactive curtain wall is designed to interact with the environment and users.Besides the experiments and models are made for study and improvement.The fifth chapter summarizes the whole research and forecasts the future of interactive curtain wall.
