The Campus Morphology Of Cheeloo University

Cheeloo University was the product of collision and fusion of Chinese and Western architectural culture,the campus form was influenced by the Chinese traditional academy building and the modern Western college campus.Chinese modern Christian University started the establishment of the modern university,Cheeloo University was a bright pearl of the Christian universities,the campus not only shows the social cultural environment and the educational ideas,but also the architectural culture between Chinese and Western culture.In this context,improving the understanding of campus morphology make sense to build a good university campus environment and promote the construction of top universities.This paper combs the changing of the Chinese and Western campus’s process from origin to development,analysis the relationship between school background and the campus form,and relates to Cheeloo University,explicates the relationship and the inheritance relationship of the campus form of Cheeloo University.On the basis of the cultural and historical factors that influences the campus form of Cheeloo University,this paper analysis the constituent elements and organizational structures of Cheeloo University.This paper traces to the source of the campus form of Cheeloo University between Chinese and Western culture.It is limited to the campus of Cheeloo University in order to make sure that the study of Cheeloo University campus is in the modern cultural and social environment,and it is not the discussion of the changing after the founding of New China,that is the consideration of the static state of campus,not the changing of it.
