With the development of conservation-minded society,smart electric meters develop as multifunction low-power dissipation and high precision,this article designed a low-power dissipation and high precision single phase smart electric meters according to the society mainstream.This article designed a low-power dissipation and high precision single phase smart electric meters using frame of“dedicated measure chip + MCU”,electric meters use control chip RM8025 FA from EPSON,measure chip RN8209 C from RENERGY,not only has the function that national grid need,but also make the battery changeable for the hardware circuit design.This electric meters can reach the precision under 0.05%,and the lowerest electricity is less than 3uA,under the normal condition,active power is only 0.6W,realize the smart electric meters low-power dissipation and high precision.The first chapter of This article introduce the meaning of smart electric meters and the low-power to the society enviroment,and introduce the history of electric meters and the demand of low-power smart electric meter.The second chapter of this article introduce the measure theory of the electric meter,and list the design demand for the single phase electricmeter.The third chapter designed the hardware for the smart electric meter,campared the overall good and bad design frame for three electric meters,choose the “dedicated measure chip+ MCU”frame design,and also compare the electric meter MCU in the current market,choose the higher cost performance RM8025 FA as the control chip for this article.On the basis of confirming good control chip and design frame,design and analysis each module of the electric meter,such as power supply circuit modules,changeable battery circuit,measure module,communication module,etc.The fourth chapter designed the software of electric meters on the baisi of the hierarchy and modularization for the sofrware,and present all the structure frame of design module and program flow chart.Present a agreement tree for the complicated communication part,make the electric energy meter can deal with the big data efficiency.Finally,we did the performance test,testing project include start test,shunt running test,basic error test,frequency impact test and complete machine power dissipation test,and list part of EMC electromagnetism compatibility test content,the result show that the electice power meter meet the design demand and can work normally.
