| China’s urbanization is entering the development stage of high-quality and green development.Urbanization requires a higher level of "livable".Building a "livable" city is increasingly becoming the path of high-quality urban development.Residential quarters is the most closely related space to residents’ life.When we explore the construction path of "livable" environment in residential quarters,we can highlight the dominant position of residents in the city and explore people-centered planning concepts and means.Researches on the construction and implementation of "livable" community are of great significance to promote urban beautification.In recent years,on the basis of livable city evaluation research,the ideas and methods for livability evaluation of residential quarters have basically been formed,and important practical experience has also been accumulated or objective entity environmental quality evaluation is carried out,but the correlation analysis between subjective and objective is not enough,and the related theoretical framework and method system still need to be further improved.The study analyzes the livable characteristics of Xining residential quarters from subjective and objective aspects,aiming at providing a scientific basis for the construction of livable city and demonstration residential quarters in Xining.The research takes 1694 residential quarters in the main urban area of Xining City as the research object.The basic data of various residential environment indicators obtained by research is based on POI data of various facilities and GIS spatial data processing and analysis technology;then the weight of each indicator is determined by the entropy method,and the 5 dimensions and overall livability of each residential area are calculated by the TOPSIS comprehensive analysis method.Based on the objective evaluation score,the residential quarters were classified based on the characteristics of the objective evaluation score,using the natural breakpoint method,and the spatial distribution results and distribution reasons of the livability in the built-up area of Xining City were analyzed by using the spatial difference method.Results show:(1)The comprehensive livable spatial differentiation characteristics of residential districts in Xining city are obvious.The comprehensive livability level of the downtown area is the highest,forming a differentiation pattern of "high in the center-low around";the livability of the four river valley regions is significantly different,There is a significant difference between the south bank and the North Bank of the terrace in the main stream of Huangshui,forming a spatial distribution pattern of high in the south and low in the north At the same time,the livability of the four river valleys decreases with the extension of both banks of the river.(2)The characteristics of the five sub dimensions are also differently obvious.The comfort spatial distribution is relatively uniform,and there is no significant spatial differentiation as a whole;the security presents the distribution characteristics of high in the center and low in the edge of the city;the living convenience presents a gradually decreasing pattern from the urban center to the four River Valley terraces;the travel convenience space forms the differentiation characteristics of decreasing from the center to the outside;Environmental health is high near urban parks,green spaces and water systems,while low in central areas.Secondly,The study designed a questionnaire on subjective perception of livability including socio-demographic variables,sense of belonging to Xining City,perception of Xining City’s livability,perception of the livability of residential quarters,and evaluation of satisfaction with the residential environment of the community.Moreover,the residential environment satisfaction evaluation system of the community is designed based on the objective evaluation index system,including25 residential environment indicators in 5 dimensions of the objective evaluation system.Based on the 411 questionnaire data finally obtained,the paper analyzes the respondents’ recognition of the livability of Xining City and residential areas;uses regression analysis method to study the influence of socio-demographic variables,sense of belonging to Xining,perception of Xining livability and objective evaluation of livability on the subjective perception of livability in residential areas.Results are as follows:(1)Respondents generally have a high degree of recognition for the livability of Xining and residential quarters.More than 85% of the respondents think Xining is livable.From the perspective of various indicators,residents are highly satisfied with the community security situation,air quality,bus travel convenience and commuting convenience of the residential quarters,while they are less satisfied with the parking facilities,activity squares and property management of the residential quarters.(2)More than 70% of the respondents think their residential quarter is livable.The satisfaction ratio of each living environment index is concentrated in 70-80%,and the degree of livability recognition decreases as the objective level decreases.Respondents are highly satisfied with the community security situation,surrounding air quality and commuting convenience,while they are less satisfied with the parking facilities,property management and the similarity of residents’ income level.(3)The residential housing attribute,the living time in Xining,the sense of belonging to Xining,the livable perception of Xining and the comprehensive results of the objective evaluation of the livability affect the residential quarters livability recognition.Self-purchased houses,the longer the residence time in Xining,the stronger the sense of belonging to Xining City,and the higher the objective evaluation score,the higher the recognition of the livability of the residential area.Moreover,there is a certain correlation between the comprehensive results of the objective evaluation and the subjective cognition,as well as various dimensions.The better the objective evaluation results,the higher the subjective recognition.Finally,Suggestions on the construction of livable cities and livable residential quarters are put forwardare put forward.Policy makers and planners of Xining can propose new measures to expand the urban development space,strengthen the investment in urban infrastructure construction and build the cultural system of Xining.At the same time,when carrying out the environmental improvement and reconstruction project of residential quarters,the implementer should start from the immediate needs of residents and explore the mode to improve the management;they should also try to create a harmonious humanistic and cultural atmosphere. |
