Embryology Research On Water Adaptive Spatial Pattern Of Traditional Settlement

At present,there are many difficulties and uncertainties in the protection,renewal and re-use of traditional settlements.The construction of sponge city also needs to draw wisdom from the development process of ancient urban and rural areas.The spatial pattern and the landscape of water adaptability provide a new way of thinking and perspective for co-ordinate and study these issues.This paper systematically summarizes the theoretical connotation,historical evolution process and spatial external performance of the traditional settlement water adaptability spatial pattern by means of the method of occurrence,which focuses on the internal operation mechanism and evolution law of the traditional settlement water adaptive spatial pattern.The research contents and achievements of this dissertation are mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1)A comprehensive analysis of the origin of the settlement concept and the suitability of the settlement,which is back to Jia Rang's "Three policies to administer the Rivers".Through the research of historical documents,we can get a conclusion that not only Jia's "Three policies to administer the Rivers" is the original provenance of the "settlement",but its implied theory that do not scramble with water for land,and moderate engineering intervention is exactly the core meaning of the settlement water suitability.On this basis,the connotation of the traditional settlement is extended,that is,the connotation of the traditional settlement should not only include the historical and cultural characteristics and the overall architectural style,but also the spatial pattern of the environmental adaptability that involve the living art of the ancestors,and its running mechanism and evolution law should be important parts of the traditional settlement connotation.(2)By combining the settlement of water issues on the ancient urban and rural,this thesis has analyzed and interpreted the theory of the ancient urban and rural development.At the same time,it has summarized the important principles of ancient ancestors in the practice of solving regional and urban and rural water problems from three aspects,namely,the integration of the natural river system with the urban water network,the dialectical relationship between the highland and the waterside,and the versatility and diversification of the engineering measures.Besides,the paper has interpreted the ancient principles in a modern way by Combining the construction case on Yixing,a sponge city.That is to say,the implement of water ecosystem and the construction of natural sponge,the non-engineering measures that take planning as the leader,and the diversiform chooses of technical measures under multiple targets.(3)Taking the ancient city of Taierzhuang as an example,this article has mainly studied ancestors constantly adapt and transform the urban and rural water system in the process of long-term struggle with water disaster and water resources management,and accumulate lots of ecologically valuable experience,and then form the settlement water adaptive spatial pattern with regional characteristics.Based on the scale of regional and urban area,the wateradaptive spatial pattern of the traditional settlement is summarized and analyzed from three aspects: regional hydrological conditions,flood control demand and water resources constraints.
