Reducing the cost of logistics is an important part in the supply side reform,as well as an important measure in the implementation of the "Three Position" in Guangxi.Reducing the logistic cost can help Guangxi to deepen its regional economic reform and promote its economic transformation.However,due to the lag of Guangxi's economic development and its logistics infrastructure,as well as its irrational industrial structure,the regional logistics cost is still high,which seriously affects the development of local logistics industry.In addition,because of the economic base and infrastructure imbalance in the cities of Guangxi,the development of logistic industry is of great difference in different cities.As a result,it appears agglomeration phenomenon of regional logistics in Guangxi,hindering the development of its regional economy and the competitiveness of logistics industry.Therefore,constructing index system to explore the characteristics of the regional logistics evolution in Guangxi as well as the influencing factors,finding out the crucial reasons of the high logistics cost is of great significance,which is helpful to speed up the Guangxi regional economic development and promote its regional logistics industry competitiveness.Moreover,it can also make sure to realize Guangxi's strategic objectives in the current period.Based on the above consideration,this paper starts from logistics cost,analyzing the changes of macro-logistics cost of Guangxi in the recent ten years.The results show that the logistics costs in each part are generally high,especially the highway transportation costs,which make the highest proportion in the total expenses.Secondly,we set up an index of cost-profit margin to measure the logistics cost efficiency in highway transportation of the 14 prefecture-level city of Guangxi in year 2005 to 2014.Based on these,we continue to set up the logistic link value between the 14 cities by the improved-gravity model,forming the corresponding gravity matrix and making network-based measurement.Thirdly,we analyze the point centrality and graph centrality of Guangxi regional logistics network by using social network analysis method and Ucinet software.The results show that most of the cites'logistics are still in the stage of attraction,except Nanning which has been presenting great attraction on other cities;and the regional logistics networks show a trend from decentralization to centralization.Fourthly,we analyze related factors affecting the Guangxi regional logistics network and set up panel model to explore the effect of each factor.We find that the economic base of a city is the key factor affecting the inward and outward logistics flow in the network,while the number of employees has significant negative effect on the contrary.Finally,after the analysis of Guangxi regional logistics network in the past ten years,we put forward some policy suggestions to enhance the logistics industry competitiveness,which is mainly in the following four aspects.First,make efforts to improve policies and measures to promote the system reform actively.Second,accelerate the logistics infrastructure construction in every city to improve the regional logistics network layout.Third,strengthen the information platform to strength logistic science-technology content.Forth,introduce logistics experts to improve the industry professional level.
