Informatization construction of production logistics is one of the core content of shipyard informatization construction. Along with the maturation and development of information technology, the demands of informatization transformation of shipbuilding enterprises have been put forward constantly. China shipbuilding industry has put an unprecedented enthusiasm into shipbuilding informatization construction. Besides, under the background of the recession of shipbuilding market and the decline of shipbuilding completion year by year, informatization construction of shipyard production logistics has become a significant method to improve production efficiency, reduce production cost and enhance the core competitiveness of the shipyard. In order to define the content and direction of the informatization construction of the large scale shipyard production logistics, it is necessary to make an accurate assessment of the informatization level of the shipyard production logistics. This paper researched and analyzed various aspects of shipyard production logistics and the informatization level of the shipyard production logistics was assessed through a combination of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods. A comprehensive evaluation system architecture was designed at last.The evaluation system architecture is based on the actual needs of the informatization construction of shipyard production logistics and refers to the indexes of "Assessment specification on integration of informatization and industrialization for industrial enterprises".Considering of the characteristics of IHOP (Integrated Hull Construction, Outfitting and Painting) and IDPM (Integrated Design, Production and Management) in modern shipbuilding mode, this paper establishes an evaluation system architecture of shipyard production logistics with three first grade indexes named design informatization, production informatization and management informatization. Then, three single points of the indexes are selected to be subdivided into an integrated evaluation index system which contains the contents of the fourth grade indexes and sub-indexes. According to the characteristics of the index system and the applicability of each assessment theory, the analytic hierarchy process is chosen as the main evaluation method by which the weight coefficients of the index system are calculated. A method for calculating the degree of membership in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is provided to deal with the quantitative analysis of different types of quantitative and qualitative datum. Finally,the informatization level assessment of shipyard production logistics will be achieved.On the basis of the informatization evaluation system of shipyard production logistics, this paper selects four shipyards to carry out an empirical research which is focused on the informatization level assessment of 3D design, processing workshop and MRP & distribution management. Based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, the scores of the informatization level of each shipyard are calculated. The shortages and improvement directions of these shipyards are pointed out separately through the comparative analysis of the evaluation scores. Furthermore, according to the actual situation of domestic shipyard production logistics, four solutions for informatization construction problems are proposed from a macro point of view which point out a clear direction for the future informatization construction of shipyards.Based on the hierarchical model of the informatization evaluation system of large scale shipyard production logistics and the mathematical model of the evaluation calculation, this paper designs a comprehensive evaluation software for informatization evaluation of shipyard production logistics by using .net platform and C# language. The extensible markup language(XML) is used to construct the file system and the software will become a reference for the practical engineering application.
