This dissertation comes from the "GRAT" project's renovation project,which researched the design and implementation of the data transmission and control function based on multi-target buoy array element underwater positioning system and studied the localization principle, localization algorithm, data transfer,and implement software features.The display and control software of the buoy based on long base line positioning system is the solver and control center of the whole positioning system, the main function is receiving, picking, processing pulse signals which emitted by moving targets. This dissertation consists of two parts data processing algorithms and software architecture.In the data processing algorithms section, the dissertation discussed the spherical model and the double-curved intersection model firstly, the target location can be solved by the target signal propagation delay from the buoy, buoy array bit and the velocity of sound underwater; secondly the dissertation discussed the phenomenon of receiving a serious of pulses caused by the complex water acoustic channel, and expert system selection principles of choosing the direct sound pulse; and then explained the phenomenon of "distance blur"caused by the distance of target from buoys and the transmission delay from the buoy system synchronization; finally studied the establishment of an effective speed of sound underwater table and the method of obtaining the effective speed of sound according to a lookup table.In the software architecture section, the dissertation firstly introduced the Qt library control software which based on the Windows platform. Secondly, according to the workflow of long baseline positioning system, the dissertation analysed the necessary main features of the display and control system,including the feature setting,status monitoring,data transmission of the long baseline positioning system of buoys, base stations and other platforms. The system also has the capability of real-time solver. Finally the system was built according to the analysis of various functional modules. The system has the features of very detailed function, user-friendly, easy to operate, intuitive view the results.Long baseline positioning system display and control software described in this dissertation has verified the stability by laboratory electric debugging, the pool debugging,and Songhua Lake testing. This software also has the ability of communicating with every platform in system, multi-target tracking (including tracking the target which can emit single-frequency signal and FM signal), data analysing and processing. The software achieved the requirements of high precision and multi-target locating. The software have contented the design requirements, achieved the expectant goals.
