In this paper, in the background of automatic linear labeling machine research, we mainly studied the delivery mechanism of JC-3ML labeling machine. The key component of the label delivery mechanism is delivery cam, the design and accuracy of cam curve seriously affects the quality and accuracy of labeling machine. It will be a lot of problems when the design of cam curve is unreasonable, such as: the transition between roller and cam groove are not smooth, producing friction and the noisy becoming bigger. Therefore, it is essential to design the cam curve precisely and reasonably. But each kind of delivery cam can only be labeled for a special size instead of labeling different sizes. If you want to replace the label, you need to replace the corresponding delivery cam to meet the labeling requirements. The traditional method of designing cam was time-consuming and not making a further analysis on the cam, so we need a convenient, accurate, practical and effective method to design the cam curve. However, a universal design method had not been found in domestic. Therefore the design and research of the delivery label cam in this labeling machine have great practical value and significance.The main research contents of this paper are including:1. Analyzed the working principle and driving system of the labeling machine. In the meantime, we analyzed the motion states of container and label deliver mechanism which is gluing, taking standard and from the standard. Analyzed the delivery mechanism on the labeling machine which are including the gluing mechanism, picking up mechanism,standard mechanism and the bottle distributing mechanism of labeling machine.2. Explained the working principle of the JC-3ML type labeling machine from two aspects which are the labeling process and delivery mechanism movement. We mainly researched the working process of the label delivery mechanism, and then drew the delivery cam theoretic contour equation. According to the theoretic contour equation, drew the outline curve of the cam theory and the actual contour curve by using the MATLAB language. Furthermore, we had also designed the software system of contour curve and the GUI which was more clearly and convenient. According to the design method of delivery cam, we carried out the design of the rotary cam and completed the establishment of the 3D solid model of the delivery cam.3. According to the three dimensional solid model of label delivery cam, kinematics simulation of the label deliver cam was studied by using the ADAMS soft. Then, it was verified that the roller basically conforms to the pre-set working requirements during the movement of the cam groove, which ensures that the feasibility of the design method of label deliver cam and deliver mechanism.
