"Bus priority, green travel" has become an important goal and the guideline of urban traffic development in China. How to enhance the traffic capacity of public transport stations and to improve service quality and information level of urban public transport system is an issue for the transport management. Consequently, we need to solve the chaos between human and bus in the station. The origin is the free parking, such organization not only makes each bus scrambling to draw in the station,also leads to the increase of vehicle delay time and the decrease of utilization rate of parking spaces, especially threats passengers safety. Therefore, this paper proposed a multi-berth dynamic allocation algorithm and designed an intelligent system of leading the bus into station in order to solve the problem in the station.Firstly, a multi-berth dynamic allocation algorithm based on bus stopping time calculation model is proposed in this paper. This algorithm allocates parking berth for each bus according to their stop time, the pre-arrival time and the parking spaces.This algorithm can realize intelligently leading the bus into station.Secondly, we design an intelligent system leading the bus into station which is based on the proposed multi-berth dynamic allocation algorithm. The system is designed as follows: Firstly, the functional requirements and the overall framework of the system are studied and analyzed, and the overall design scheme of the system is clarified. Secondly, the hardware and software design of the vehicle terminal and the station terminal are introduced. According to the PCB board design rules, we gave the main control PCB board and the prototype of the vehicle terminal and the station terminal. What's more, the router node along the road and the communication protocol between the vehicle terminal and the station terminal is designed. Then hardware circuit of minimum system and the main function module are tested and analyzed respectively.Finally, we tested the whole system. The results show that this system can realize intelligently leading the bus into station and passengers to queue up orderly. It not only achieves the design goal of the system, but also can improve the traffic capacity, service quality and informatization level of the transit system.
