China is the world's factory and a large consumption country in the field of elevator.As market competition intensified,rapid response to market and meeting individual needs of customers,reducing the costs of design and manufacturing,shortening product delivery cycles and improving product quality have become problems which elevator companies must pay attention to and solve.However,most companies still follow traditional design method aided by common CAD software on the important design link in the product life cycle.This method has been unable to meet the business needs for design.So,Elevator design and manufacturing companies must seek new elevator design method,quickly response to customers' personalized and diversified demand,adapt to the new customized market environment and increase their strength.Elevator car is the part of highest degree of customization in elevator product.This study has important theoretical and practical value for the development of professional elevator car design system.The main works are listed as follows:(1)Analyze current situation of elevator design in companies.Study the basic processes and methods of car design according to the features of order design.Design the elevator car by using organization mode of parallel processes and systematic designing idea of product family to meet customers' diverse and individual needs for elevator car.(2)Adapt the technology of ASP.NET and Silverlight to develop a systematic network design platform based on MVVM method.Implement business management,data query and management for elevator car design and process of order design and enhance the collaboration capability between designers.(3)The parametric design platform is established by using the VSTO and WCF technologies based on the Office software,which realizes the edit of elevator car design knowledge in self-defined format,package and design calculation.(4)Develop dedicated EDS design platform with SolidWorks API based on SolidWorks software.Making full use of the software that comes with graphics capabilities,use the CAD workstation plugin developed before to drive the models automatically and generate instantiated elevator car models and drawings that meet the need of customers.(5)The parameterization models of MCD elevator car are built based on the elevator car design system:product family structure model,engineering drawing templates and design documents,and realized the elevator car quick order design.The parametric design system of the MCD elevator car is regarded as a complete CAD application system,and it sets the calculation and analysis,data management and service,knowledge storage,image processing,process management and report generation into complex one,and meets the new demands in the field of elevator design.At the same time,it could provide the valuable experience for the intelligent design of other products,which has a certain reference value and a promising application prospects for engineering promotion.
