With the accelerated development of China's economy,the scale of the power grid is also continuing to expand.A series of serious problems caused by the ice and snow weather in winter has been getting more and more attention.Need to consume a large amount of reactive power AC short circuit current ice melting,it is difficult to provide a general station,is not suitable for 500 kV and above transmission lines,DC short circuit current ice melting with ice melting power capacity to meet the demand,characteristics of long distance,the superiority is better.Study on transmission line ice melting method and feasible implementation scheme for Anhui power grid to improve the ability to resist ice disaster and other natural disasters,which has important practical significance to the safe and stable operation of power system and the construction of a strong Anhui power grid.Based on reading the literature,combined with the actual project,put forward the overall idea of the design scheme of 500 kV Guan Shan station DC ice melting and reactive power compensation technology applied research projects and the implementation plan,the premise that based on the study of DC ice melting and the basic principle of reactive power compensation on the basis of the actual project and understand the situation the transmission line,a detailed analysis of Guanshan station DC ice melting and reactive power compensation demand.Secondly,according to the demand analysis,the overall plan of design project is put forward,that is to develop the integrated scheme,to determine the coordinated control scheme of the network,and to control the state and control strategy of the DC melting and moving device.Then,according to the design of the project plan and the basic situation of the station,analysis and determine the installation location of the project.Finally,combined with the relevant theory and field operation data,the application effect of the device in the field of melting ice and reactive power compensation of overhead transmission line is analyzed.The results show that the proposed scheme can make full use of the dynamic reactive power compensation device in the abnormal fault of the power grid,and the ice melting effect is good when the line icing.The DC melting and SVC device of 500 kV Guan Shan station has high utilization rate and good economic performance,so the scheme proposed in this paper has a certain universality.
