With the progress of national environment policy,the renovation of denitrator,desulfurizer and dust removal device and the introduction of low-temperature economizer had drawn an increasing attention recently.As a result,the flue resistance increased.On the other hand,induced draft fan and booster fan set alone often result in low efficiency due to the unreasonable design,which brought an increase of coal combustion of the system.This research focused on the boiler of 600 MW unit in a power plant and analyzed the existing problems of induced draft fan and booster fan based on thermal state test result.Then,an operation scheme of integration of induced draft fan and booster fan was presented.Finally,operational effectiveness after integration project was test.Thermal state test revealed that induced draft fan and booster fan of #1 boiler exhibited low total efficiency in actual operation and performance index researched only 42.6% to 45.25% at lower load.Induced draft fan and booster fan of #2 unit had the same problems with a low total efficiency of 36.3% to 36.81%.The item of integration of induced draft fan and booster fan was proposed and researched.All the possible factors which can influence the flue resistance were taken into consideration,such as the rehabilitation of denitrator,desulfurizer and the chimney and the introduction of low-temperature economizer,during selection of united fan.Parameters of united fan for TB were designed with the flow of 503m3/s,the pressure of 8506 Pa and the air density of 0.78 kg/m3.After integration project,the total efficiency of united fan was test and it was estimated to adapt the requirement of economy.When the integrated unit operated at 600 MW for 5500 hours per year,the power consumption was 45,880,000 kWh and it can save electricity consumption of 13,350,000 kWh and the coal combustion rate decreased 1 g/kWh.
