The Study Of Cost Control During The Construction Stage Based On BIM Technology

Compared with the other industries,building industry has lower efficiency,there is more serious waste phenomenon.While,with the steady growth in the building industry market and the continues improvement of the technology and science,management methods in building industry has been continuously improved.Low efficiency and waste phenomenon shall be suppressed also.At present,the traditional cost management in building market is extensive mode.Under the current economic circumstance,the building enterprises need to promote their cost control to the intensive mode,make themselves more competitive.BIM(building information modeling)technology will bring the support to the building enterprises’ intensive management.With the BIM,the cost will be under control,with more economic and social benefits.First,the paper conveys the basic concept of BIM,BIM technology support,BIM’s advantages,and the studies of BIM application.The paper analyzes the problems involved in the cost control of the current construction organization.Then,the paper introduces the advantages the construction organizations get in cost control after they applied BIM.Combined BIM technology and Cost control together,it will build the BIM construction cost control management system.Based on the different construction stages,the paper expresses the BIM application in each stage.Second,when BIM technology applied in the actual project,it builds BIM mode through the Luban BIM system.The paper introduces the basic operations in use of the Luban BIM system.During the project construction,project administrators enter into BIM and read the cost information data.With the detailed analyses of the project,the administrator can control the cost before and during the construction,then the cost will be reduced,and will bring the economic benefits.It proves the value of BIM technology in cost control of the project management.BIM technology applied in construction stage,it lets the building enterprises make a big step to the intensive management.
