Research On Application Of BIM Technology In Project Cost Management

Construction industry in our country is a labor-intensive,extensive operation of the industry,the construction of the project as a result of the amount of information on the building’s comfort,function and appearance,etc..The traditional cost management mode and information communication way,often because of the project construction period,the construction process of long,large amount of information data and so on various units involved in the engineering construction cost management mode of failure paralyzed.Especially for some large government construction projects and public facilities,this is particularly prominent.Therefore,the use of BIM(Building Information Modeling)software to the information collection and sharing of various stages of construction,the formation of the construction information entity model,so as to promote the participation of engineering division and cooperation unit,through the advance of project cost management,and then make the design,construction and operation of the whole process cost management.Can effectively avoid the whole project in the completion of the actual cost is higher than the project budget.On the basis of understanding the development of China’s cost management model,this paper describes the shortcomings and problems,which shows that the development of China’s economy is no longer satisfied with the traditional cost management model.Through in-depth study of BIM,illustrate the advantages of the BIM technology can play in the construction industry,put forward that BIM technology in engineering cost management application research and clearly demonstrated that this application is feasible.Based on the use of BIM software cost comparison of domestic and foreign mainstream on the using method of thsware software using the "distributed" BIM model in construction project of a city of arts as an example to establish the cost model,the original design drawings by two-dimensional three-dimensional entity model of formation of the replacement of the project cost,fine management,so as to realize the whole the true meaning of the process cost management.
