Full Process Management Of Project Cost Based On BIM

Cost management is the most core content of construction project management activities. Although, Chinese cost management system has been developed and improved in recent years and Valuation model and Valuation tools have been improved, there still exists a series of problems that plague the implementation of the method and cost control theory of engineering project, for instance, cost management mode was disconnected with the market; difficulties of engineering information sharing and cooperation, lacking of nationwide unified standards and meticulous cost management concept, updating of engineering data and maintenance problems are slow, and so on.In view of many problems that exist in the current full process management of project cost, this article will introduce BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and BLM (Building Lifecycle Management) concept to solve the problems of horizontal information loss and longitudinal communication disorders in the whole lifecycle projects. As a result, in each phase, each participant can share and exchange engineering foundation data effectively and dynamically.The paper mainly analyzes the following issues:(1)Discuss the method and characteristics of cost control theory in construction engineering field, and analyze BIM/BLM technology philosophy research status at domestic and aboard;(2)Analyze BIM/BIM technology concepts and their relations from the construction industry informatization perspective, namely BIM is the foundation of the realization of BLM, BLM is the value of BIM, and introduce the IFC standard;(3)Analyze full process management connotation of project cost, the development trend and current model limitations in our country construction project. Aimed at project cost elements, explore the specific application value of BIM/BLM in full process management of project cost.(4)Combine with the engineering case, analyzes and discusses full process management of project cost from different dimensions and different perspectives as decision phase, design phase, bidding phase, construction phase and the completion of the transfer phase. This article will thoroughly and deeply analyze the meaning and value of BIM in full process management of project cost.
