Towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle is an important equipment in the airport for pushing and pulling aircraft. The determination of the test method not only can determine whether the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle can successfully complete the task, and can confirm whether in this process damage or damage to the aircraft nose landing gear, but also to assist enterprises to optimize vehicle design. It's mainly for the rod aircraft tractor test by the current aircraft tractor test method, but can't be measured against the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle lifting mechanism holding the requirements. This article developed a set of towbar-less aircraft test equipment Tractor gripping and lifting mechanism proposed test method, to achieve the test requirements.Test equipment towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle clamp lifting mechanism includes means for detecting a vehicle in front of flight simulators and aircraft landing gear simulator. Firstly, the characteristics of the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle clamp lifting mechanism were analyzed, combined with the standard for this mechanism in pushing and pulling aspects of design requirements and test conditions, and comprehensive consideration of the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle in the pilot project under the operating modes, such as lifting force, maximum steering angle and torque limit, maximum traction, traction performance, and maintenance of conventional traction test pushing, pushing and pulling test under extreme conditions, job stability test, calibration, and vehicle running reliability test, put forward a design scheme of the test equipment. Finally, to test the feasibility of the program and test methods for the determination of validated tests.In this paper, the current situation, innovative design can accurately test the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle lifting mechanism gripping performance testing equipment. Two test programs were proposed, the fixed and mobile solutions. In addition, the program design, improvement and simulation test are carried out respectively for the two programs, and the structural force analysis is also carried out for the movable program. The test methods for the performance of the towbar-less aircraft towing vehicle, including lifting force, the maximum steering angle and torque limit, the maximum traction force, the structural stress and the reliability of the vehicle. Finally, the test proves the key role of the movable program and the feasibility of the test method.
