Continuation Of Urban Context-study On Urban Texture Of Historic City In Jingdezhen

Our living space are full of cement forests and wide roads in today's cities,and the traditional scale of human nature is no longer around us.It is also very difficult for us to go into the historic city to experience the appropriate human scale.The traditional historical city texture is leaving us,only existing in the "historical and cultural blocks" or "historical and scenic areas".People have no leisure to experience this kind of characteristic historical city texture because of the change of people's modern life style.We are indifferent and can do nothing but let them flow in the years of history.China has a large number of historical city,and the history of the city's urban texture has been protected,however,the fragmented texture environment is difficult to continue the original spatial characteristics of a city.These traditional urban texture and traditional cultural symbols have become a luxury of urban culture and life,they can "see" but cannot "touch".They isolated from the outside world in the form of cultural relics and submerged in the shadow of tall buildings.It's so hard to get into people's vision.Based on the study of urban texture,this paper research the basic theory on the development and present situation of urban texture.One of the most important study is the figure ground relation and the space syntax.In the theory of the figure ground relation,the texture is no longer a simple plane graph,but the external manifestation of the continuous development of the city.Space syntax theory provides a new idea for the study of urban texture.Different from previous qualitative research,Space syntax provide a systematic and scientific study of urban texture with quantitative method.We can use this method to find the law of urban space system and the direction of urban development.The formation and development of urban texture is the result of the combination of natural and cultural processes.The protection of the old city texture is the carrier of urban features and urban memory,it is conducive to the continuation of urban culture as well as to form a correct attitude towards the city's history and culture.From the actual situation,this paper study the spatial texture of Jingdezhen historic city based on the Figure ground relation theory and space syntax.Based on the study above,we can find the problems in the development of the modern city of Jingdezhen,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
